Tell us little about yourself and what type of defender are you ?
I’m a straight forward kinda guy that has a bubbly character, I’m an attacking technical left back.
Who are the most important people within football environment?
My teammates in the football environment definitely, I have some close friends at the club or even people I’ve played with in the past that just keep giving you that positive energy.
Brandon, you started your football career within the Arsenal Academy at the age of 8. How important was your time at Arsenal in your development?
So important, Arsenal is one of the biggest clubs in the world so your surrounded by talent, it helps you improve a lot as a player.
After your time by Arsenal FC, you joined Swindon Town FC. What can you remember about your first team debut with Swindon Town ?
I remember like it was yesterday, we played Bradford city at home & won 4-1.. I was so pumped up I had a great game.
On 28 July 2017, you joined Dutch side Helmond Sport FC. Did you noticed a lot of difference between the Netherlands and England ?
Worst time of my career, at this particular time I had no idea of Dutch teams, just the obvious ones like Ajax, PSV, Feyenoord etc. The biggest difference I saw was the passion & pressure to win was a lot more in England than in the Netherlands.
At Helmond Sport, you got injured so badly. After playing one match, you couldn’t play any match for the whole year. How tough was that year for you?
I rolled my ankle 1st game of the season & didn’t recover until the end of the season. My injury was misdiagnosed otherwise I would of been back after 3/4 months.
In 2018, you signed for FC Dordrecht, where you made more than 50 league appearances during two seasons. Why did you leave FC Dordrecht ?
I wanted a bigger challenge in my career, that’s the reason I left.
After being loaned to SBV Excelsior in January 2020, you signed a two-year permanent deal with the club in the summer of that year. What is the best thing about playing for SBV Excelsior ?
We play good football & we have a young ambitious team.
Brandon you have been represented in England at both under-16 and under-19 level. What are your ambitions at an international level ?
I would love to play for my country I’m mixed with.. Trinidad & Tobago!
If you had the choice, would you ever return to an English football club?
Yes definitely, 1. To be able to be with my son, also just the passion, great teams & of course it’s just home for me.
